Hayley Swanson hopes to drive beautifully for the Aussie Racing Cars Super Series
FW1 brand will be sponsoring the Aussie Racing Cars Super Series at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide event. Hayley Swanson, glamorous model and driver for the category unveiled the exciting news at a press conference on March 17, 2011.
FW1 and Aussie Racing Cars have been working closely together for the last two years. The decision to grow the partnership and have Naming Rights sponsorship came to fruition when plans to take the series international were discussed. This is in addition to the wide national media exposure on offer that is received via the V8 events, which Aussie Racing Cars now features in.
FW1 Chief Operating Officer Ty Pedersen stated: “This sponsorship really fits with our overall plan to continue to be recognized as a superior car cleaning product. Our FW1 waterless cleaning wax is used by racing professionals, so to be aligned with the Aussie Racing Car category at the prestigious and exciting V8 events is just fantastic.
“We could not pass up the opportunity to be part of such a fast growing event that has doubled in attendance in the past 10 years. We’re sure the crowd will also be pleased with our involvement as we have a lot of exciting things on offer,” Ty said. Aussie Racing Cars have a strong following in Australia and are building momentum internationally as race cars that deliver high-energy action, despite being about three quarters the size of a V8 Supercar.
All the cars are pure-bred race cars designed and custom-built in Australia with their small size enabling thrilling four-wide braking, overtaking and quick acceleration to a speed in excess of 200kph. The cars are powered by a 1.2 liter, 125bph, twin-cam, 16 valve engine that revs to 11500rpm.

Hayley Swanson has signed on to race in the series this year. She brings glamour and attention to the category having featured in RALPH magazine in the past and winning Miss Summernats in 2010.
